Cantina Lavis Pinot Nero DOC 2021

Cantina Lavis is an historical winery located at the heart of the Trentino subregion.

Founded in 1850 by the Cembran family, it has been a cooperative since 1948.

They benefit from a collective heritage of winemaking that unites over 800 growers over a surface of around 800 ha. The mountainous soils are rich in minerals: sandstone deposits and Dolomites rocks. The climate is a moderate cool climate since the hills are located at the foot of the Alps. The vineyards are planted on steep hills, as high as 800 meters above sea level. Only traditional cultivation methods are used, as well as hand-harvesting.

They are pioneers of the Quality and Zoning project that enhanced the impor- tance of �the right vine in the right place�, encouraging the cultivation of both traditional and international grape varieties.
